Happy Helmets | Bern X Young Riders

It’s officially summer which means warm weather activities! We are overjoyed to announce that Happy Helmets is being supported by Bern for a second month in a row! This month we are pleased to be expanding our reach into the biking community with our most recent generous donation from Bern. As always we wanted to take a second to say thank YOU, none of this would be possible without your constant support.

What is Happy Helmets?

Happy Helmets is a give back program where we donate new helmets to local charities, schools and youth programs. Each month a new helmet sponsor & donor is selected. Our goal of this program is to give individuals access to brand new helmets to keep their brains happy & healthy!

Big Thanks To Bern

The Outdoor Retailer Innovation Awards recognize products, materials, retail services, and brands pioneering new technologies and establishing solutions for the outdoor and snows ports industries. This year’s 16-member panel carried an incredible depth of experience in product development, design, materials, strategy, testing, and consumer engagement, selected finalists out of 189 entries, and named Bern one of the 16 winners during the virtual ceremony at Outdoor Retailer Winter Online.

On the cutting edge and continually pushing themselves in all aspects of helmet innovation. They have amazing resources on their news tab on their website. Our April Helmet Recipients

We are pleased to donate these Bern Bike Helmets to Young Riders, a Park City, Utah based nonprofit!

A deeper look into Young Riders:

“The Young Riders Youth Cycling program was founded in 1996 as a way to keep kids happy and healthy when the snow melts, works to improve fitness, build friendships, and explore the environment and establish responsibility in youths throughout the Park City area.

Our qualified coaches and instructors make riding safe, fun and adventuresome for riders of any age or ability. On each ride we explore an aspect in each of the following mountain bike realms; healthy lifestyles, technical skills, mechanical skills, responsible riding, way-finding, proper trail etiquette and respect for the environment.

Off the bike, the Young Riders are passionate about your kids and a ‘Greener’ tomorrow. We work closely with other advocacy groups in the area to help promote sustainable programs such as, Share the Road, Safe routes to School, and others!”
