Happy Helmets | Troy Lee Designs x REP Moto

Hey Everyone!

Let us be the first to officially welcome you to summer! Time to stay outside late, layer on the sunscreen and break out the shorts. This past month we held our very first in-person event in Denver thanks to the help of Burton, Fat Tire, Red Bull and Anon, which was a huge success! We cannot thank the sponsors, artists and community enough for showing up and making this event so special. The energy was unreal & Mary Walsh absolutely crushed leading a panel. If you missed the event you can see the video recap HERE!

As mentioned prior, it’s officially summer!! With summer comes an array of new outdoor activities to enjoy. What a better way to celebrate the season change than to support a summer sport through our Happy Helmets! This month we’re overjoyed to have the opportunity to partner with Troy Lee Designs (TLD) again as well as REP Moto.

Happy Helmets:

TLD is an icon within the biking and moto community! They offer a full range of bike equipment for every age, gender and across all different types of riding. Their helmets are designed to be comfortable and offer superior protection, technology and (bonus!) are super stylish. Why stop there? TLD offers everything from helmets to gloves and everything between. Not to mention they have a stacked athlete roster (click HERE to learn more)

What began as a hobby of a motocross racing teenager named Troy Lee, painting helmets in his parents garage for his friends, has grown to become recognized as the premier custom helmet paint shop in the world. Troy Lee Designs supplies motocross and mountain bike gear to the world's fastest racers.

“WE ARE DRIVEN BY CREATIVE HORSEPOWER, AN INTENSE COMPETITIVE SPIRIT WITH A LOVE FOR RIDING AND RACING. WE HAVE A DEEP PASSION FOR INNOVATION, SAFETY AND PERFORMANCE WHILE ALWAYS EXCEEDING ARTISTIC BOUNDARIES. OUR MISSION IS TO CREATE REVOLUTIONARY SPEED EQUIPMENT FOR THE WORLDS FASTEST RACERS AND ENTHUSIASTS WHILE ENSURING THAT EVERY PRODUCT REFLECTS THE TLD SIGNATURE. OUR INTENSE PASSION FOR THE LIFESTYLE WE LEAD ON AND OFF THE TRACK WILL ALWAYS DEFINE WHAT WE CREATE AND WHY WE CREATE IT. WE HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS PASSION WITH US.”

Another recent innovation from Anon is their Endura: “Endura® shell construction features an injection-molded ABS exterior for long-lasting durability and ding-resistant strength”

Rep MX is a motocross program that offers a range of classes to get you on a dirtbike or improve your skills -  from starter to advanced as well as private classes! While you’re building these skills you’re also learning about yourself in the process!

“Learn to ride with confidence and not fear, riding dirt bikes isn’t all about how gutsy you can be, how high you can jump and how many injuries you can brag to the next person about. Riding dirt bikes is about learning self discipline, controlling your emotions, using the tools on the bike to control the bike properly so you can ride with courage and confidence.”

“OMG! A rallying cry to the accomplishments of women in sport. A rallying cry for women in general.

Women are incredible.

They surf mountains, and soar as high as skyscrapers. And on occasion, they fall from the sky. They land hard.

Bleed.
Scar.
Cry.

And get up and do it all over again. Often with their baby in one arm, and a trophy in the other.

We celebrate all the OMG moments of a female athlete. From the medals, and world titles --- to the literal hunger onset, the annoying wedgie that wants to ride too, the period cramps that come at you like 15' Teahupo'o right before you have to compete... at 15' Teahupo'o....

Because, at the end of the day, these athletes are women. And women are incredible. They have it all and do it all.

WOMEN ARE GODDESSES” - ROXY
