Name: Robin “Bino” Gillon

Where are you from: I grew up in Switzerland from a Dutch mother and a half Swiss half British father.

Sport of choice: Skiing/Snowmobiling

Interesting fact about yourself: I’m deaf. I was born with 80% hearing loss but thanks to technology and an amazing surrounding, I speak 4 languages fluently, ski professionally and study finance/management at the university. All of which I’ve been told as a kid were not going to be possible due to my “disability”.

What inspired you to partner with Save A Brain?: Awareness! Wearing a helmet is so crucial, we know far too much about brain injuries nowadays to not wear helmets. An injured brain is not a broken bone, it doesn’t really get more serious than that.

Great people around the world have been pushing to develop technologies to help us protect our heads in order to play/work more safely. It is now our duty to normalize wearing helmets and ensure people are informed.
