Sometimes we experience an event like a head injury that catapults us out of our regular life. If you can, keep an open mind to try some amazing ways to help you heal. We have tried all of these and love how they made us feel. Worst comes to worst. You had a really relaxing hour.

Sound Bath

The use of music for healing is nothing new. From Tibetan singing bowls to Aboriginal didgeridoos, music has been used for its therapeutic effects for thousands of years. The ancient Greeks utilized sound vibration to aid digestion, treat mental disturbance, and induce sleep.

Studies proved that music could lower blood pressure, decrease pulse rate, and assist the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for digestion and some metabolic processes.

Essentially, a sound bath is a meditation class that aims to guide you into a deep meditative state while you're enveloped in ambient sound played by instructors.

The instruments used almost always produce deep, overlapping vibrations. These vibrations lead you deeper into a state of contemplation or relaxation, shutting off your body’s fight-or-flight reflex.

I left a class feeling like I was on cloud nine. It was a truly unique and enjoyable experience.
